CWS Retained by SPG for Radio Frequency [RF] Shielding Window Film Installation Project

WASHINGTON – Commercial Window Shield has been hired by SPG, Inc. for a Radio Frequency [RF] Shielding installation project in the nation’s capital.

The project, for a high-security tenant, involves installing RF Shielding film on all the exterior windows in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility [SCIF] space on one floor of a building. SPG, of Warrenton, Va., a leader in the design and construction of high-security office spaces, will be building out the SCIF space for the tenant.

The RF film blocks would-be cyber thieves from stealing sensitive information on computer and mobile phones screens located in the SCIF space.

Commercial Window Shield is one of the leading installers of Radio Frequency [RF] Shielding film, a growing sector in the window film market. The company has worked with SPG on other SCIF projects.

The Washington project is expected to begin in the spring.

Over the years, Commercial Window Shield has worked with some of the country’s leading general contractors on a variety of window film installation projects.  Along with SPG, the company frequently works with Bognet, rand, DAVIS, HITT, DPR Construction, D/Watts, Harvey-Cleary and Gilbane Building Co.

In addition to Radio Frequency [RF] Shielding film, Commercial Window Shield is a leading installer of safety and security, solar control, decorative/privacy, switchable smart and bird safety window films.

Since 1985, Commercial Window Shield clients have included the U.S. Capitol, FBI headquarters, the Pentagon, all House of Representative and Library of Congress buildings, Grand Central Terminal, Merrill Lynch headquarters, the United Nations, the Willis [former Sears] Tower, O’Hare and Seattle international airports, and the Philadelphia and Denver mints.
